COVID-19: Impact on Clinical Research Operations and a Path Forward
We have all felt the impact of COVID-19. Whether it is in our professional or personal lives, our “normal” way of operating is no more. But where do we go from here? What happens when the threat is diminished to a manageable degree? Will we go back to business as usual, or have the ways of working been permanently altered?
In this session, we will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on clinical research operations from both a site and sponsor perspective. After an initial discussion of the efforts Janssen is taking to combat the impact of this pandemic, we will break into smaller groups to discuss the impact on patients, sites, and sponsors, discuss what sites and sponsors need from each other to continue providing clinical research as a care option for patients, and how we can work together to emerge from this pandemic even stronger than we were before.
