- What is ANCC and What is MoreHouse?
- For our Webinars and our summits, we offer contact hour credits for attendees that require content be approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). These are based on a per-hour basis. All content must go through this pre-approval process prior to the live session.
- Morehouse School of Medicine is the body that certifies our Summit content (and summit content only) for Continuing Medical Education units.
- Why do I need to submit learning objectives?
- Learning objectives are a critical piece of this review process as they are a requirement from both certifying bodies to have established prior to the live event.
- Do we have to use a PPT?
- You do not have to use PPT for your presentation. Many great sessions do not have presentations but are instead discussions, panels, fireside chats, etc. This determination can be made with the conference organizers and should be made clear as it has its own set of requirements. Slides are optional for the virtual session and some rooms do not offer AV for our summits. Your conference organizer can provide more information as necessary.
- Why do we need to have the content preapproved?
- This content needs to be approved by the bodies that certify our content to qualify for contact hour or CME credits. This process takes time and passes through many hands before final approval so we can issue the credits attendees seek for their licensure or certifications.
- Why do I need to provide a photo and bio?
- Your Bio and photo are used to help market the session and drive attendance. Coupled with the title and description these are the best tools we have to help drive registrations for your event. We use these to update the faculty page for our summits.
- Does the Summit Prep call with SCRS take the place of a team prep call?
- These are two exclusive events. The Summit Prep call is designed to help all of our speakers understand how the sessions will run, how to utilize the technology, access their session, and run their session.
- For both summits and virtual experiences, the Team Prep call is a strong recommendation from SCRS for your sessions speakers and panelists to convene and discuss how their session will flow. It is up to the speakers themselves to arrange this discussion. We suggest the facilitator schedule this prep call and use it to develop talking points.
