Brian Barnes is a Senior Director, Product Management – Clinical Operations Technology at Medidata Solutions. Brian has 16 years in clinical development supporting Risk Based Quality Management (RBQM) and Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCTs) from business and technology development perspectives. Brian is a co-liaison of the RBQM & member of the DCT Working Groups within the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO), an industry consortium supporting Clinical Research Organizations and technology providers in optimizing biomedical product development. Brian brings a unique view to the future of pharmaceutical product development – as an industry leader, a trial innovator, and a technologist from a business process implementation perspective. Brian has presented and published on RBQM and DCTs at numerous industry meetings, conferences, and journals.
