Cassandra has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, joining Johnson & Johnson in 2005 and holding various R&D roles since that time. In 2019, Cassandra was appointed to shape Janssen’s inaugural Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in Clinical Trials strategy. This appointment was followed up in 2020 as Cassandra was named as the Director to continue to build a dedicated team tasked with continuing to drive and evolve the strategy to enroll underrepresented populations into the JRD portfolio of clinical trials.
Cassandra has a passion for health equity and advancing efforts around diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical trials. She has been involved in various internal and external working groups, councils and collaboratives focused on this topic for much of her career here at Johnson & Johnson, and externally Cassandra is a well-respected industry thought leader on this topic.
Cassandra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Science with a concentration in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Marketing from St. Joseph’s University.
