Jamie’s journey into clinical research began while studying Biochemistry. Starting as a research assistant at Cedar Crosse under Dr. Danny Sugimoto, she quickly progressed to clinical research coordinator and clinic manager. Her early immersion into drug research and development kindled a lasting passion, further strengthened by her dedication to diversity and inclusion in clinical research. In her current role, she collaborates closely with Dr. Sugimoto, managing clinical operations and business development. They have made significant medical contributions, pioneering clinical trials for drugs, treatments, and vaccines for health challenges like type 2 diabetes, migraine headaches, hypertension, obesity, cholesterol, and COVID-19. Jamie recently assumed ownership of Cedar Crosse. As CEO, she oversees Business Development and Budget Negotiations, marking her impressive evolution in the clinical research industry.
