| Inspired by her three beautiful daughters who all battle sickle cell disease, Mapillar Dahn founded and is the CEO of MTS Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, support, and sensitivity surrounding this global health issue. She has built a very engaged online presence of over 50 thousand users from all over the world with her awareness efforts reaching tens of millions across the globe through television, social media, billboard advertisements, speaking engagements, and more.
A national voice in the sickle cell space, she currently serves as a Member of The American Society of Hematology (ASH) Research Collaborative Patient Engagement & Education Subcommittee, a Member of The Georgia Health Policy Center’s Sickle Cell Disease Advisory Committee, as well as a Member of The Global Blood Therapeutics’ CBO Advisory Board. |
