Natalie Monegro, MBA MPH joined AbbVie in December 2021 as a member of the Diversity and Patient Inclusion leadership team. In her role, Natalie leads the development of a holistic framework for teams across all therapeutic areas in the company to proactively think and plan for diversity – at both the indication level and then at the protocol level- helping to ensure that AbbVie’s trial populations are
representative of the disease population. Prior to joining AbbVie, Natalie spent 15 years as a regulatory and communications consultant coaching and preparing sponsors – from big pharma to small biotech – for interactions with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory agencies and helping sponsors gain regulatory approval for their products. She has experience across the continuum of clinical development and across all therapeutic areas. The breadth of her experience positions her as a thought leader on global harmonization of clinical trial inclusive practices. Natalie earned her undergraduate degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Health from Rutgers University.
