Deputy Director of Research
Associate Professor Tam Nguyen has over 20 years of working in the healthcare, health & medical research environment including tertiary teaching hospitals and research institute across Australia. He is the Deputy Director of Research at St Vincent’s Hospital, one of the largest tertiary teaching and research hospitals in Melbourne – responsible for the organisation’s research strategy, ethics, governance, clinical trials, research innovation and development.
Tam is a regular invited speaker at national and international conferences and holds adjunct appointment with Melbourne University’s Medical School and Monash University’s School of Public Health & Preventative Medicine – two of the top 30 globally ranked medical schools. Tam also advises several medtech and health tech start-up and serves as non-executive director.
Tam is active with the ANZ Ambassador Program and passionate about Diversity in Clinical Trials. He’s currently the chair of the SCRS ANZ Site Solutions Summit.
