José Jimeno, MD, MBA, PMP, earned his medical degree from the National University of Colombia and holds an MBA from INALDE Business School, as well as Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. He has more than 18 years of experience in clinical research, with a strong track record in the development, implementation, and expansion of clinical studies across Latin America, particularly in vaccines and infectious diseases.
He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Endpoints, a clinical research site network focused on strengthening the scientific, operational, and strategic capabilities of the region to accelerate access to innovation and generate greater impact on public health.
Previously, Dr. Jimeno served as Chief Executive Officer of VaxTrials, part of The Emmes Group, where he also led the regional Vaccines and Infectious Diseases division for Latin America. Throughout his career, he has led regional expansion initiatives, infrastructure development, and capacity-building efforts in clinical research across multiple countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
His expertise spans strategic leadership, complex operational management, the development of regional scientific collaboration ecosystems, and engagement with public and private stakeholders to advance sustainable clinical research models throughout the region.
