Helen B. Combs is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Medovation Clinical Research, an Integrated Research Organization (IRO) dedicated to expanding access to clinical trials through partnerships with community physicians and private practices across the United States.
With more than 25 years of clinical research leadership experience, Helen has successfully built and scaled research programs across multiple therapeutic areas. Prior to founding Medovation, she served as Managing Partner of a clinical research organization that she helped grow before its successful acquisition in 2020.
Helen is recognized for her expertise in launching research-naïve physicians into clinical research, developing high-performing research sites, and improving patient access to innovative therapies—particularly in rural and underserved communities. She is also a passionate advocate for increasing diversity in clinical trials and strengthening collaboration between physicians, sponsors, and patients.
A national speaker on clinical research, allergy, and asthma, Helen presents on integrating research into community medical practices, investigator development, operational excellence, and strategies for expanding clinical trial access. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Marist College in New York.
