Nicolás Daguerre is CEO and Co-Founder of ICHTYS Technology S.A., a company certified under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 by TÜV Rheinland, and creator of AlphaCR — a clinical research management platform designed specifically for sites in Latin America and the United States. AlphaCR integrates CTMS, validated eSource, eRegulatory, eFinance, medication stock and dispensing management, and patient recruitment into a single system, validated under FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EMA Annex 11.
With more than a decade of experience in clinical research technology, Nicolás led the development of AlphaCR from its inception — starting from the real operational needs of research sites in LATAM and building a platform that today supports more than 60 active sites in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and the United States, with studies from top-tier global pharmaceutical sponsors and leading industry CROs.
Under his leadership, ICHTYS developed capabilities unique in the regional market: HL7 FHIR R4 integration with hospital information systems, transfer of 100% of clinical data — both structured and unstructured — to the sponsor’s CRF/EDC, and a financial module with no equivalent in Latin America that automates the settlement of visit payments and contracts with sponsors and investigators.
He is a firm advocate for Latin America’s role in global clinical research and believes that sites in the region, equipped with the right technology, can compete and lead at the highest international standards.
