Marlenie Moodie

Senior Manager, Regional Feasibility Network

Parexel

Marlenie was born in Belize, Central America, but lived in various countries in the region; making Panama and Costa Rica her “home”; before moving permanently to Florida, in 2006.

Marlenie is a Physical Therapist and focused her work on kids with Cerebral Palsy- when she concluded her studies in Costa Rica. When she arrived in the United States, she worked in several positions in the medical field before making a move into Clinical Research, in 2011. She has worked at the Site Level as a Recruiter, Pre-screener, Clinical Research Assistant, Clinical Research Coordinator and Site Manager, transitioning to the CRO world in the Site Identification and Feasibility Department. She is now leading a team of 17 individuals as a Regional Feasibility Network Senior Manager, for the Americas at Parexel. She has a great passion for music, traveling, enjoys time with her friends and family and loves helping others- in any way she can, enjoys raising awareness on the importance of DE&I and is proud of being an Afro-Latina in Clinical Research. One of her dreams is being able to see more people like her in the industry that will also make a difference to those that surround them.
