Xoli works to keep ALL patients and site teams at the centre of clinical research in support of Parexel’s Patients First value. She has over 25 years in global clinical research experience in a range of roles including clinical lead, project leadership, learning and organizational development, change management, and corporate strategy. This experience has positioned Xoli well to establish and lead a multidisciplinary Patient Inclusion Working Group at Parexel (since 2022). Patient inclusion is an ongoing ‘change initiative’ across our industry.
Before joining Parexel, Xoli worked in areas including CNS, oncology, and cardiology in pharmaceutical companies. She worked as a family support worker at HIV charities in London in the late 90s and also has experience as a healthcare assistant in hospital and care homes.
Xoli holds an MSc in Neuroscience from Institute of Psychiatry, London and a BSc (Hon.) in Medical Biochemistry from Brunel University, London. She is a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Change at Ashridge Executive Education (part of Hult) where she uses action research methodology to co-create change with others rather than for or to them.
Outside of work, Xoli enjoys cooking, hiking, a range of music and quality time with friends and family. She also enjoys Nigerian movies, Avengers, and old musicals. She cannot be trusted with pets or plants.
