Upon returning to New Zealand, Kerry further developed her expertise in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), managing a Terminally Sterilised production unit responsible for preparing non-commercially available injectables and manufacturing dialysis solutions. This role solidified her foundation in high-quality pharmaceutical production and regulatory standards.

Kerry’s career took her to Australia 20 years ago, where she rejoined Baxter and later transitioned into a pivotal role at QPharm Clinical Trials. Over 12 years, she played a key role in expanding the pharmacy operations, growing it from a single-person operation to a fully staffed team, while overseeing a variety of clinical trials. Additionally, she contributed her expertise to Poisons Information for Queensland Health, where she maintains a casual appointment in the service. Currently, Kerry is the Pharmacy Manager at the Southbank Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), where she continues to apply her extensive knowledge and leadership skills to advance clinical trial pharmacy services.

Her career is a reflection of her commitment to advancing pharmacy practice, particularly in the fields of clinical trials, sterile production, and regulatory compliance. Kerry’s extensive experience, combined with her passion for supporting clinical research and patient care, makes her a valued professional in the pharmacy industry.
