Dr. Christine Lee is a former FDA executive and nationally recognized leader in clinical trial innovation and workforce transformation. Her work is driven by one conviction: the future of clinical research depends on who’s leading it.
During her tenure at the FDA, Dr. Lee directed over 80 studies designed to expand access, advance innovation, and modernize the clinical trial ecosystem. Through this work, she identified a critical gap: without local, well-prepared clinical research staff—investigators, coordinators, and sub-investigators—even the most promising decentralized models fail to reach underserved populations.
At the same time, the clinical research workforce is in crisis. While global studies have surged past 500,000, research sites across the country struggle to recruit, train, and retain qualified personnel. This shortage stalls studies, delays innovation, and leaves entire communities behind.
In response, Dr. Lee co-founded ACHIEVE EXPERTISE with Dr. Mona Ranken—a national initiative dedicated to building a future-ready clinical research workforce.
ACHIEVE doesn’t just train—it transforms.
Dr. Lee is redefining what it means to lead in clinical research—elevating workforce development as a central pillar of innovation, inclusion, and scientific excellence.
Because tomorrow’s trials depend on today’s training.
