Alison Ivey

Chief Administrative Officer

University of Florida Health Cancer Center

Alison Ivey is the Associate Director for Administration and Chief Administrative Officer for the UF Health Cancer Center. In this role, she oversees administrative and business operations, including clinical research, grants administration, finance, facilities, and affiliate partnerships. Alison plays a key role in maintaining the center’s NCI designation and contributes to strategic planning and policy development as part of the senior leadership team.

With nearly 20 years of experience in health care, clinical research, and administration, Alison has a strong background in building and leading research operations. Before becoming Chief Administrative Officer, she served as Administrative Director for the Cancer Center’s Clinical Research Office, where she led a major restructuring and expansion of the office, establishing early-phase and investigator-initiated trial units.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Florida, a Bachelor of Nursing from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Clinical Research Management from Arizona State University, and an MBA with a specialization in Data Analytics from LSU-Shreveport. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Oncology Nursing Society, and the Society of Clinical Research Associates. Alison has maintained certifications in oncology nursing and clinical research for over 15 years.
