Dr. Escobedo-Escotto holds a medical degree with a minor in Surgery from Guatemala. She received a master’s degree in public health from the Milken Institute at George Washington University. She has dedicated her last 10 years to conduct clinical research in the most underserved communities in Washington DC. Her proficiency in English, French, and Spanish has allowed her to gain the trust of the community she serves.
She co-hosts the TV show ‘Tu Salud Tu Familia” on Telemundo network and received her 4th EMMY for Outstanding Health and Science program special.
Dr. Escobedo-Escotto was recognized as pne of the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health by the National Minority Quality Forum’s. She received the award for her accomplishments in the Healthcare field and her potenital to continue impacting minorities communities in the DMV area. Lastly, she received recognition from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala as an outsanding healthcare provider abroad.
