Dr. Escobedo-Escotto obtained her Medical Doctoral degree at the prestigious University Francisco Marroquin, in Guatemala. In 2019, she achieved her master’s degree in public health at George Washington University, in Washington D.C. She is trilingual physician with experience in the clinical research area. Fluent in English, French and Spanish. Dr. Escobedo-Escotto joined ECRI in 2013, where she has been able to develop her passionate interest in working with patients whose needs are unmet by the public and private system. Currently, she is the research director and business partner for the Maryland site. She has been focused on health needs in the community and her main interest has always been to improve health access to minorities. Therefore, she decided to actively participate in the establishment of Emerson Community Clinic, where she became a co-founder. She is co-host of the Tv show “Tu Salud Tu Familia” in Telemundo and recently awarded her third Emmy for Outstanding Health and Science program special. Dr. Escobedo-Escotto was recognized as one of the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health by the National Minority Quality Forum’s. She received the Award for her accomplishments in the Healthcare field and her potential to continue positively impacting minority communities. |
