Chin Weerappuli serves as Vice President of Provider Development at IgniteData, where he leads the company’s global site network strategy. In this role, he works closely with academic medical centers and research institutions to drive adoption of IgniteData’s EHR-to-EDC solution, Archer, enabling seamless data transfer for clinical research.
Prior to joining IgniteData, Chin spent nearly a decade at Epic, where he led major implementations at some of the most prestigious healthcare institutions in the country. He was also one of the inaugural members of Epic’s in-house consulting group, helping health systems optimize clinical workflows and scale Epic innovation across their organizations.
Outside of work, Chin is passionate about giving back. He serves as the volunteer President of two nonprofit organizations—one supporting small businesses in Denver, and the other focused on student-athlete development at the University of Michigan. Based in Colorado, he enjoys exploring the mountains, catching concerts at Red Rocks, and continuing his travel adventures—40 countries and counting.
