Christina Brennan, MD has devoted her career to clinical research and currently serves as Northwell Health’s senior vice president for clinical research. Committed to the advancement of science and medicine, Dr. Brennan has more than 23 years of research experience, including over 19 years in management and leadership roles.
She is on the board of trustees for the Association of clinical research professionals an organization serving research professionals, where she has also been an active member for 18 years. She served on the board of the local NY chapter for ACRP for many years including president. She is on the steering committee for CTTI, the Clinical Trial Transformation initiative with Duke University and the FDA. She also sits on the technology and oncology advisory committees with SCRS, the Society for Clinical Research Sites and the advisory committee with Florence Healthcare. Dr. Brennan is an active member of Chief, Women in Bio and the Healthcare Executives.
She has authored and edited chapters in textbooks, manuscripts, abstracts, articles in journals and developed an online course for the CITI program. She has presented at numerous scientific and research meetings. She has appeared on prime television being interviewed for 60 minutes and many national and local newsstations. She is an adjunct professor for masters degree programs at Yeshiva University and CUNY York College, teaching graduate students about clinical research.
