Claire Finney is a strategic public health leader with a deep commitment to advancing health equity and inclusive research practices. As the Community Outreach and Engagement Manager for Sanofi’s Diversity & Inclusion in Clinical Trials team, Claire leads regional efforts across the Southeast to foster community trust, drive equitable participation in clinical trials, and operationalize inclusive innovation.
With over a decade of experience spanning nonprofit, academic, and global health sectors, Claire has led transformative health equity initiatives, developed innovative strategies to support inclusive research practices, and guided collaborative efforts to improve representation in clinical trials. Her work is grounded in community-based participatory research and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on elevating the voices of underrepresented populations in clinical research.
Claire holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health at Tulane University. She brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, facilitation, and evidence-based program design, and is a passionate advocate for inclusive, community-centered approaches to health innovation.
