Dana is a thoughtful researcher who is driven by the commitment of placing the patient at the core of the research planning model. Her research endeavors include conducting community-based participatory research in her hometown in Puerto Rico, assisting in biochemical and cellular mechanisms of cerebral malaria pathogenesis using in vivo mice, evaluated national Coordinated Specialty Care programs, to name a few. She serves as project lead and research manager for the Syneos Health Insights & Evidence Generation team whose focus is on engaging directly with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy organizations to uncover and understand the patient experience. The team’s purpose is to provide better representation of patient preference, decision-drivers, attitudes, emotions, and beliefs to generate actionable insights that inform decisions across the clinical trial lifecycle.
