Denise Snyder

Associate Dean for Clinical Research

After spending time in public health and clinical nutrition, Denise Snyder started work at Duke University School of Medicine (Duke) as a clinical research coordinator in 2000 for NIH funded diet and exercise intervention trials in breast, prostate, and colorectal cancer. For 12 years, Denise has been the Associate Dean for Clinical Research at Duke. In this role, she leads the Duke Office of Clinical Research (DOCR) a support office of expertise in coverage analysis, study logistics, data management, regulatory oversight, workforce innovation, and guidance for clinical research operations for Duke as a site. Denise has over 60 peer reviewed publications and she has completed 30 peer reviewed oral or poster presentations and more than 80 invited presentations including keynote addresses to local, national, and international audiences.
