Emma is a registered nurse with 22 years’ experience in the hospital health care setting, including the past 8 years as the lead Research Nurse for the Neurosurgery Dept at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. She is a passionate advocate for patients, develops and maintains relationships with key site stakeholders, and drives open communication channels with CRO’s and Sponsors within the clinical trial space. Emma has been referred to as ‘The Hybrid’ as she is not only a nurse and clinical trial coordinator but also a clinical trial patient and is a current consumer representative to ensure the patient voice is heard during trial protocol development.
