Gissela Delgado is the Director of Operations at CTMD Research, a clinical research site known for its high compliance rates in long-term studies, and its proficiency in fast-paced high-enrollment studies. With a background in education and nursing, she brings over 10 years of experience in all areas of clinical research from start-up to completion.
Born and raised in Peru, she developed a passion for medical and educational missions from a young age. This early enthusiasm for the recruitment and organizational aspects, drove her to pursue her master’s in health administration at Florida Atlantic University Throughout her career, Gissela has consistently demonstrated her interest in team building and strategic planning, co-founding CTMD Research, a stand-alone clinical research site with a multispecialty approach. She is committed to providing equal opportunities for the ones who want to grow in the profession, and to the participants who need access to new treatments. Outside of her professional life, Gissela enjoys traveling with a purpose. She annually participates in the PAMS surgical mission in Peru’s jungle, and serves on the board of the Ministry of the Good Shepherd in Florida, which provides educational opportunities for people in need in Peru.
