Dr Jane Gaunson is the Associate Director, Local Delivery (Study Management) at GSK Australia. Holding a PhD in Immunology and Microbiology from The University of Melbourne, Jane has been a leader in Clinical Research for over 20 years where she has driven patient outcomes as a CRA, Local Study Manager, Regional Study Manager, Team Leader and Global Program Lead. Throughout her career she has had extensive experience in the end-to-end implementation of clinical research programs from Phase I to IV across several therapeutic areas. Jane has specialised in early-phase oncology trials where she has established key partnerships and networks for GSK Australia to deliver innovative medicines and implement policy and process improvements. Jane’s commitment to clinical excellence and passion for improving equity in patient care through innovative research led to her involvement in the Kits4Life program. This program is designed to repurpose clinical trial kits for use in resource limited settings, promoting sustainability and improving global health. Jane led the implementation of the program within GSK Australia in 2024 with a view to facilitating its adoption globally in the future.
