Dr. Linda Pao, MD, FAAN is a board-certified neurologist and clinical researcher dedicated to advancing therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. She serves as Co-Medical Director and Principal Investigator at JEM Research Institute, where she leads clinical trials focused on disease-modifying therapies for Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Lewy Body Dementia, and related disorders.

Dr. Pao’s approach to neurology combines evidence-based medicine with the latest scientific discoveries, incorporating genetics, clinical research, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle medicine. She is deeply committed to patient-centered care, education, diversity in research, and improving recruitment and retention in clinical trials.

She earned her medical degree through Brown University’s Program in Liberal Medical Education, followed by an internal medicine internship at Brown University-The Miriam Hospital and a neurology residency at New England Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident for two years. She completed her neuromuscular fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and is board-certified in Neurology and EMG.

Throughout her career, Dr. Pao has held leadership roles including MDA Clinic Director in South Florida, faculty positions at Cleveland Clinic Florida and Florida Atlantic University, and executive staff positions at Jupiter Medical Center and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. She continues to serve as a lecturer, teacher, advisor, and physician leader, championing a team-based approach that fosters collaboration among clinicians, researchers, and patients.
