Lourdes López Bravo is an AVP, Clinical Operations and Head of Global Clinical Trial Operations for the European Economic Area (EEA) at MSD, based in Madrid.
With more than 25 years of experience in clinical research, Lourdes leads the delivery of complex, multinational clinical trial portfolios across Europe, working closely with investigative sites, regulators, and global development teams to ensure high quality, compliant, and patient centric trials. Her role requires strong coordination across diverse healthcare systems and regulatory environments to enable Europe’s contribution to global clinical development.
Throughout her career at MSD, Lourdes has held roles of increasing responsibility, including Regional Project Manager Director of Oncology, Clinical Research Director Spain and Portugal , and regional executive leadership roles across Western Europe, the UK & Ireland, Türkiye, and the Middle East. This experience has shaped her strong focus on collaboration, operational excellence, and regulatory readiness.
Lourdes is passionate about uniting sponsors, sites, and regulators, advancing EU CTR and IVDR implementation, and leveraging digital and data driven solutions to strengthen Europe’s role in global clinical trials.
