Dr. Marianne Saurenmann is Director, Regional Lead, Study Site Engagement at Takeda. She and her team partner with clinical research sites to accelerate study start up, strengthen sponsor–site collaboration, and support reliable patient enrollment across Europe.
With 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and CROs, Marianne has held roles across Clinical Operations, Medical Services, Clinical Trial Management, and Pharmacovigilance at Takeda, PPD/ThermoFisher, Abbott/AbbVie, MSD, and Novartis.
In her leadership and site facing roles, she has helped launch and support trials across multiple therapeutic areas and geographies. Marianne works closely with diverse stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and build long term, trust based partnerships.
Based in Zurich, she is passionate about simplifying trial execution for sites and creating conditions that enable predictable start up, sustainable recruitment, and high quality delivery—allowing sites to focus on patient care and data integrity.
