Michelle E. Mack, PhD is Associate Director for Research Operations in the Duke Office of Clinical Research and Associate Director of the Duke Early Phase Clinical Research Unit. She has over 25 years of experience in biomedical and clinical research, regulatory oversight, project management, and faculty development. Dr. Mack oversees major research initiatives and federal contracts, supports investigator development programs, and leads operational improvement efforts across the Duke University School of Medicine. A former academic scientist with expertise in Alzheimer’s disease research, she is an accomplished educator, mentor, and author focused on strengthening the clinical research enterprise.
