Nadir Ammour is a Global Lead for External Engagement at Sanofi, a global healthcare leader dedicated to chasing the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. In this role, Nadir manages and coordinates external engagement initiatives within the Engagement & Strategic Collaborations function in clinical operations.
Nadir graduated as a medical dentist and holds an MBA. He worked in public hospitals before transitioning to clinical development, where he has held different global roles and managed several clinical development programs across various indications and therapeutic areas. This diverse background provides him with a unique perspective that bridges clinical practice, business strategy, and pharmaceutical development.
Nadir drives strategic projects that enhance how Sanofi connects and engages with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and partners, ensuring engagement strategies are data-driven, customer-centric, and aligned with the company’s mission.
He serves as leader and co-leader of several industry consortia projects focused on advancing the digital transformation of clinical development. His contributions span critical areas including, but not limited to, EHR-enabled trials, digital biomarkers, electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments (eCOA), Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT), and data return to patients. Through this consortia work, Nadir helps shape industry-wide standards and best practices modernizing clinical research globally. He has also co-authored several publications in these fields, contributing to the broader scientific and industry knowledge base.
