Penny is a co-founder of Optimal Clinical Trials, part of the NZCR Group, a clinical trials group with sites throughout New Zealand. Optimal specialises in late phase (Ib-III) clinical trials in a wide range of therapeutic areas, and together with NZCR who are early phase experts, the NZCR Group provide sponsors and CROs expertise in clinical trials over all phases. Dr Montgomery is a vocationally trained GP, and experienced PI in studies covering a large number of therapeutic areas. She is now the Senior Medical Advisor for Optimal Clinical Trials.
