MBA, Site Planning & Operations
Boehringer Ingelheim
Rachel started her career in the clinical research industry as a site coordinator at a large multi-specialty research network. She spent five years holding various roles to support clinical trial participants and the growth of the network, before transitioning to Quintiles in 2012 as a global feasibility manager. From 2012 – 2018 she worked through the Quintiles to IQVIA transition supporting data driven feasibility and therapeutic area planning & strategizing. Today, she is the Director of Site Planning and Operations at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, leading the US Feasibility & Strategic Alliances teams and being an active member of the US Clinical Development & Operations Leadership Team. In her role, she has initiated and supported many innovation projects, all of which seem to lead back to her passion for data and technology and her desire for simplification. The day to day operations of a clinical research site and the treatment of clinical research patients is still dear to her heart and the place she tries to lean in to when making day to day suggestions or decisions at BI.
