Sean Cunningham is a Study Site Engagement Regional Director (Americas) with Takeda Pharmaceuticals. In this role, Sean is dedicated to establishing, developing, and leveraging meaningful sponsor relationships to help accelerate the Takeda portfolio and provide sites with a positive clinical trial experience. Sean provides leadership and support for the activities of the Study Site Engagement Team in the Americas to deploy Takeda’s Global Site Engagement Strategy. He has experience within Oncology (solid tumor and hematological malignancies), Infectious Diseases (Hepatitis C, HIV- adult and pediatric, Influenza, and vaccines), Metabolism (Diabetes), Gastrointestinal/Inflammatory, Dermatology, Cardiovascular, Neuro/Psych (Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Major Depression), and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sean earned his MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Marketing and Strategy from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and his BA from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
