As Senior Director of Site Alliance at Parexel International, she brings a wealth of expertise in relationship management, business development, and strategic network development that has consistently elevated the clinical trial process.
Throughout her career, Shanna has earned a reputation as an innovative leader who combines deep industry knowledge with a collaborative approach to problem-solving. She is particularly known for spearheading initiatives that enhance site visibility and streamline operational efficiencies. A notable achievement includes leading the development of the first Global Nurse Advisory Panel at Parexel, a program that exemplifies her commitment to advancing the clinical research field through peer-to-peer networks and stakeholder engagement.
In her current role at Parexel, Shanna represents the organization’s Site Alliance Strategy to clients during proposal and bid pursuit meetings, while simultaneously supporting business development and client relationship teams in building strategic partnerships. She oversees the development and performance of the Alliance Site network across the Globe, working closely with Principal Investigators and Clinical Research Site Owners to position Parexel as the industry’s best-in-class CRO.
Prior to her current role, Shanna served as Associate Director of Site Alliance at Parexel, where she drove rapid site identification, feasibility assessment, selection, and enrollment across a network of high-performing research institutions. She worked extensively with internal departments and external clinical sites to develop therapeutic area-specific networks of best-in-class research facilities. Her tenure in this position was marked by her ability to collect site input and develop operational efficiencies that improved timelines and reduced friction in conducting business.
