Sharon Lee is the current Clinical Research Manager for WSLHD she has over 24 years experience across both investigator-initiated studies and pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials. She is a registered nurse by background and has worked across Phase 1 to phase 4 clinical trials.
Sharon has extensive experience with ethics/ governance application processes and regulations. She is a Transcelerate accredited ICHGCP trainer. In her current role she assists researchers with protocol design/ development, ethics/governance applications, budget negotiations and contract reviews ensuring ethical standards are maintained. She is also currently enrolled in a PhD (Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney) investigating “Enablers and Barriers to the conduct of research for allied health, nursing and medical professionals”.
