Simonne Breemans is an Associate Director of Clinical Operations at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, with over 30 years of experience in clinical research. She began her career at the University Hospital of Leuven and subsequently worked as a Clinical Research Associate and within a sponsor organization before joining the CRO sector. Simonne has worked at PPD for more than 20 years, initially in project-level roles and now as a people manager. She has extensive experience in site intelligence, and site start-up activities, supporting the delivery of global clinical studies through structured and consistent operational execution.
