My Style Matters

Tiah Tomlin-Harris is a nationally recognized advocate, women’s health educator, and cancer coach dedicated to empowering women, especially Black women, impacted by breast cancer. After her diagnosis with an aggressive form of “Can’t-cer,” as she calls it, Tiah founded My Breast Years Ahead, a survivor support network, and My Style Matters, a non-profit improving health outcomes for women disproportionately affected by breast cancer. Following a 2019 recurrence, Tiah embraced holistic healing and now educates women and teen girls on making healthier and safer choices to reduce breast cancer risks. Her advocacy spans from grassroots efforts to Capitol Hill, pushing for policies that improve cancer care. She serves on multiple boards including Bench to Community, Black Beauty Justice and Pfizer Breast Cancer Advocacy Board and has co-authored peer-reviewed research publications. Tiah has been featured in mainstream media such as Good Morning America 3, Tavis Smiley and Business Insider, and has spoken at leading conferences like American Society for Clinical Oncology and American Association for Clinical Research. Her work has earned numerous awards, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and the Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award. Through H.O.P.E.—Helping Others through Purpose, Prevention Education, and Empowerment—Tiah drives action for equitable healthcare.
