Dr. Wilfredo E. De Jesus-Monge is a physician with 20+ years of site-based clinical research experience. His formal research training includes a Research Pathway during his medical (MD) studies and a Postdoctoral MSc in Clinical Research from the University of Puerto Rico (PR) and a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Gene Function and Expression from UMass Medical School, Worcester, MA.
Dr. De Jesus-Monge is now Clinical Research Director at the PR Consortium for Clinical Investigation Clinical Research Center and Chief Medical Officer at the PR Science, Technology & Research Trust. Additionally, he is Assistant Professor in Research (AD Honorem) at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, Caguas, PR.
His clinical research work has been nationally recognized by his peers, including Innovation Poster Presenter at the Society for Clinical Research Sites’ 2023 Global Oncology Site Solutions Summit, Finalist at WCG MAGI Clinical Research Conference 2023 East’s Innovation Challenge, 2023 Gold Clinical Researcher Coordinator of the Year (Parexel Academy Clinical Investigator Certification Course) and 2024 Outstanding Certified Mentor at The Hispanic Alliance for Clinical and Translational Research.
