About The Award

In honor of SCRS founder Christine K. Pierre who tirelessly advocated on behalf of the voice and needs of the global clinical research site community, this award recognizes an industry leader who has made an extraordinary impact within the clinical research site community.

Open to all individuals employed by an SCRS member site, the SCRS CKP Site Impact Award will honor those who have influenced the trajectory of site sustainability and growth. This individual is an active participant in industry consortiums and meetings, bootstraps site focused solutions, and shares their voice in a constructive way to inspire change for the site community.

2025 Nominations

Nomination Criteria

  • Must be an active SCRS member site in good standing
  • Advocates on behalf of the site community and supports the SCRS mission through discussions, industry events and committees
  • Inspires change by suggesting constructive solutions and opportunities for better clinical research practices that benefit sites

One individual who has made a major impact within the clinical trial site landscape throughout their career will be awarded annually.

Nomination Process

  1. An individual from an SCRS member site may be nominated by an individual from a SCRS member site or impact partner, or they may be self-nominated
  2. The application will include a 300-500 word essay detailing how the individual has impacted the site community and why they should be considered for the award, including the nominee’s name, position, company and years in the industry
  3. The SCRS Leadership Council will review submissions and select the recipient

Award Recipients Receive: 

  1. An announcement of their recipiency of the award
  2. A trophy awarded at the event
  3. A one-year term on the SCRS Leadership Council
  4. An interview in an SCRS publication
