Anahi Yañez is a recertified Specialist in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, is Medical Director and Principal Investigator of the Center for Research on Allergies and Respiratory Diseases – INAER, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, since 2006. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Nordeste (UNNE) in 1982.
She began her uninterrupted clinical research work since 2009. She is the author of several articles in international publications.
She is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the World Federation of Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology Societies – WAO, she is also President of the Committee on Biologicals for Severe Asthma in Adults, a member of the Asthma Committee and the committee of airways of the World Federation of Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology Societies – WAO; Coordinator of the Asthma Committee of the Latin American Society of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology – SLAAI; Coordinator of the International Institutional Committee of the Argentine Association of Clinical Allergy of Asthma and Immunology – AAAeIC.
She is also Associate Editor of the World Allergy Organization Journal and Member of the Editorial Committee of the Asthma Research and Practice journal.
