Andrew commenced his career in health care over 25 years ago working as a registered nurse. During the early years working in the Cancer Services, Andrew’s interest in research was sparked that lead to a transition into this sector initially as a Clinical Trial Coordinator in 2009. Since that time, Andrew has held a number of roles in the Hospital and patient facing sector of Clinical Trials with a speciality in commencing growth and development of Clinical Trials Units in both the public and private sectors from initial commencement to developed sites in short periods.

Andrew was appointed to the Clinical Trials Network Manger Role for Ramsay Health Care in 2021 and since this time has managed the ongoing growth and development of the network overseeing ACSQHC Accreditation for all sites, Contacts & Study Start Up Processes, CTMS Implementation throughout the Ramsay Network, Internal audit framework implementation and other site support activities.

With a strong focus on site Clinical Operations & internal governance, Andrew enjoys fostering growth and development of Clinical Trials & Research Units nationally and their staff whilst working closely with sponsors and collaborative groups to facilitate ongoing growth and development of research within the Australian landscape.
