Anne-Marie Woods is a clinical research leader and registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience across the delivery and leadership of oncology and haematology clinical trials within the public health system.
She is the Manager of the Cancer Clinical Trials Centre at Austin Health, where she leads a high-performing team delivering more than 200 clinical trials from First-in-Human Phase 1 through to Phase 3, with over 40% of studies in Phase 1.
Anne-Marie has extensive expertise in clinical operations, quality systems, and trial delivery, with a strong focus on efficiency, compliance, and patient-centred care. She brings a practical, site-level perspective on translating Australia’s national advantages into competitive strengths to attract and deliver clinical trials.
She is passionate about fostering workforce capability and promoting excellence in clinical research through collaborative and engaged leadership.
