Dr. Corser graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina with a BA. He then attended medical school at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine, chief medical residency, and a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. He became involved in Sleep Disorders Medicine in 1989 and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He obtained an MBA at Xavier University in Cincinnati in 1999. He became involved in clinical research in 1995 and has since participated as an investigator or sub-investigator in approximately 500 clinical trials. He is the President of Sleep Management Institute (SMI) and Intrepid Research in Cincinnati. SMI is an independent accredited sleep center that evaluates and treats patients with a variety of sleep disorders. Intrepid Research is an independent clinical research facility that conducts phases 1 – 4 research trials with the pharma and device industries in multi-therapeutic areas with special expertise in sleep disorders. Dr. Corser is recognized as a national key opinion leader in disorders of central hypersomnia such as narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia.
