Caitlin Mahaney is the Executive Director of Bay Pines Foundation, Inc., an independent nonprofit corporation in Florida and a proud partner of the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (BPVAHCS). One of approximately 80 VA-affiliated nonprofit corporations established under Congressional authority, Bay Pines Foundation exists to advance innovative research and education initiatives in collaboration with BPVAHCS with a mission centered on honoring and improving the health outcomes of Veterans and their families. The Foundation supports a diverse therapeutic portfolio spanning oncology, cardiology, rheumatology, infectious diseases, vaccines, mental health, pulmonary, and nephrology. With 12 years at Bay Pines Foundation, Caitlin brings a uniquely grounded perspective to site leadership having begun her career there as a Clinical Research Coordinator before stepping into her current executive role six years ago. Caitlin is honored to join her peers at the SCRS Site Solution Summit, where she looks forward to contributing to the conversations shaping the future of research sites.
