Cate DiGirolamo, MBA, is the Financial Manager for the Genetics and Genomic Sciences Clinical Trials Office at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. In this role, she oversees financial operations and budgeting for a wide portfolio of clinical trials, supporting groundbreaking research at the intersection of genetics and medicine within one of the nation’s leading academic medical institutions. Cate recently earned her MBA from the University of Scranton, where she specialized in Healthcare Management.

In addition to her role at Mount Sinai, Cate currently serves on the SCRS Payment Initiative Committee, collaborating with industry stakeholders to develop strategies that address financial challenges facing clinical research sites.

Beyond her professional roles, Cate has served as an Executive Board Member and Finance Committee Member at The Players, a historic arts club in New York City. She is also a certified crisis counselor and volunteer advocate with the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC), and a volunteer with PAWS NY, a nonprofit organization supporting older and vulnerable New Yorkers in keeping their pets.
