R. Donald Harvey, PharmD, BCOP, FCCP, FHOPA, FASCO is Vice President, Clinical Research, and Executive Director of the Woodruff Industry-Sponsored Clinical Trials Office (WISC) at Emory University Woodruff Health Sciences Center. He is also a Professor of Hematology/Medical Oncology and Pharmacology in the Emory University School of Medicine. Previously, he established the Phase I Clinical Trials Section and Unit and was Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Office at the Winship Cancer Institute. Dr. Harvey received his pharmacy degrees from the University of North Carolina (UNC) and completed training at the University of Kentucky and UNC. Dr. Harvey is a former President of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) and recipient of the HOPA Award of Excellence and the James R. Eckman Teaching Award. He has been a principal or co-investigator on 226 clinical trials and has over 160 peer-reviewed publications in hematology/oncology and clinical pharmacology.
