Germán Flores is the Founder and Site Director of Vertex Clinical Research Mexico, an independent, multitherapeutic research site based in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. His expertise spans site operations, business development, quality management systems, regulatory readiness, and sponsor and CRO relations. He directs Vertex’s overall strategy, leads engagement with global sponsors and CROs, expands its investigator network, and oversees the site’s regulatory and financial operations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a master’s degree in Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Ethics and Regulations, and a Clinical Trials Coordinator certification. He is a member of the Asociación de Profesionales en Investigación Clínica (APEIC) and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), as well as an active participant in Save Our Sites (SOS) and Latinos in Clinical Research (LICR).
Under his leadership, Vertex has developed research infrastructure across multiple therapeutic areas and collaborated with international sponsors and CROs, while maintaining a strong focus on participant safety, data integrity, and responsive site performance. Germán is particularly committed to expanding access to clinical trials by connecting established urban medical networks with historically underrepresented communities across Mexico and building a robust, compliant, and sponsor-ready research model with potential for future regional growth.
