Helen joined Roche in July 2015 and currently serves as Country Head, Country Clinical Operations for Roche Australia and manages the New Zealand operations. She provides strategic leadership for her teams, overseeing Roche’s pipeline of clinical trials conducted across the area.
With over 34 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, prior to joining Roche, she held various leadership and management roles in clinical operations, clinical development, compliance and pharmacovigilance for 19 years, including 6 years leading clinical development strategy and clinical operations in the Asia Pacific region.
Throughout her career, Helen has been an active member of a number of industry and government committees in relation to R&D and clinical trials, including as one of the prior Medicines Australia External Chairs, of the Research and Development Taskforce industry group, and Steering Committee Member for the Australian Safety Commissions’ work to bring a national standard for clinical trials in Australia. Helen is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and is passionate and supports her team to promote improvement to accelerate the Roche pipeline and potential clinical trial access for patients.
