As an inclusion advocate, I am committed to being on the frontline in the fight for health equity. I currently work as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations, Diversity Program Lead at Merck. Formerly, I served on the Patient Inclusion and Health Equity team at Genentech’s Chief Diversity Office and then as a Clinical Trial Leader in Genentech’s Clinical Operations Group. In all of my positions, I champion patient voices to create medicine and molecules that serve to benefit all. My work involves running clinical studies in multiple indications, with this main driver of achieving equity in clinical research. On a broader note, my projects revolve around addressing the social determinants of health that every patient (and thus, everyone) faces, and how these determinants affect and intersect with health outcomes. I am passionate about LGBTQ+ Health Equity, and support our community through various partnerships, such as with the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center and the Sexual and Gender Minority Alliance.
